Our “Alma-Mater” the Darussalam Educational Trust (DET) was founded in the year 1974 by the founder chairman Late Alhaj Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi Saheb, Ex-Member of Parliament, Hyderabad, based on his strong foundations and principals of truth, morality, knowledge, selfless services and self-sacrifice.
Today it has its spectra of institutions situated in and around Hyderabad. Telangana.
The DET is managed by Chairman Janab Asaduddin Owaisi Sahaab, Member of Parliament, Hyderabad, Telangana, Managing Director Janaab Akbaruddin Owaisi Sahaab Member of the legislative assembly, Govt of Telangana, and a group of Managing Trustees headed by Hazrat Moulana Syed Shah Ali Akbar Nizamuddin Hussaini Sabiri. The society runs a variety of institutions from kindergarten to Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Nursing, Management, Physiotherapy and so on and is committed to impart quality education to the needy in various disciplines.

Deccan School of Pharmacy was established in the year 1997 by the Darussalam Educational Trust and is a pioneering pharmacy institution in Telangana. The college is situated in a serene lush green campus of Deccan College of Engineering and Technology and sprawling over 7 acres of land.
The college runs 4 year B.Pharmacy Degree course, 6 year Pharm.D course, 3 years Pharm.D (Post-Baccalaureate) Course and 2 years M.Pharm Course in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis specialization. The college is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Indian, New Delhi, the AICTE, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to the Osmania University, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
The college has full-fledged staff and very good infrastructure as per the norms of the AICTE & PCI and JNTU, the quality monitoring authorities. The Ex-students of this college occupy good positions in Pharmaceutical institutions and many of them are abroad, either pursuing their higher studies or practising the profession of Pharmacy.
