Deccan School of Pharmacy was given HONORARY INSTITUTIONAL LIFE MEMBERSHIP by Lion G.Koteshwar Rao, President, Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), Telangana State during the Inaguration of National Pharmacy week Celebrations – 2021 and his Felicitation Ceremony held at College Premises on 24th November 2021.  

The NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK (NPW) CELEBRATIONS – 2021 – “Theme: Pharmacist: An integral part of Healthcare” organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) – Telangana State Branch & Sarojini Naidu Vanita Pharmacy Maha Vidyalaya in co-ordination with Pharmacy Educational Institutions & Lion’s Club of Hyderabad Vibrant on 22nd November, 2021 at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad, Telengana organized a “2K – Run” event in which Mr. Shaik Misbahuddin of Pharm.D – 3rd year student bagged FIRST Prize under the guidance of Mr. Mohammed Mohiuddin, Associate Professor. The Management, Principal and Staff congratulated for his achievement and honor.

Ms. Mohammadi Fizza Khan, Pharm.D Intern, virtually presented E-Poster entitled “Association of miRNA191 expression levels and APC Gene methylation status with survival outcome of Breast Cancer Patients” and was selected among BEST THREE and awarded with EDUCATIONAL GRANT at an International Conference – EXCELLENCE in ONCOLOGY CARE (EIOC) 2021 held on 21-23 October 2021, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

B.Pharm Final Year StudentsMs. Sadia Muskaan, Ms. Samreen Begum, Ms. Maliha Asif participated Quiz Competition on 25th Sepetmeber 2021 – World Pharmacist Day Celeberation at Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Pharmacy Maha Vidyalaya, Hyderabad and won 3rd Prize. The Quiz competition was organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) – Telangana Branch and Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Pharmacy Maha Vidyalaya. The Management, Principal and Staff congratulated students on thier achievement.

Ms. Mariyum Ali – Pharm.D 1st Year Student won Gold Medal in “7th National Thai Boxing Federation Cup & Pro Night Fight – 2021” Organized by “Telangana Thaiboxing Association” on Monday, 01-03-2021 at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Ms. Afaaf Arif – Pharm.D 4th Year Student received First Prize in Poster making competition (Category – II)  – hosted by Mittal Institute of Pharmacy, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh25th September 2020 on Occasion of World Pharmacist Day Celebrations.

Online Quiz Competition on “Pharma All Rounder” held on 15th August, 2020 organized by Novo Scholar, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Deccan School of Pharmacy Student, Mr.Mohammed Misbah Ul Haq of Pharm.D 4th year, bagged 3rd Place as Certificate of achievement Rank-3 in Excellence. The Management, Principal and Staff Congratulated him for his achievement and honor.

Ms. Juveriya Fatima Siddiqua – M.Pharm. Analysis received First Prize in Oral Presentation – Title – “A new HSGC-FID method development and validation for the simultaneous estimation of residual solvents in Ifosfamide” and Mr. Husna Banu- M.Pharm- Pharmaceutics received Second Prize in Oral Presentation – Title – Formulation and invitro evaluation of Lisinopril Dihydrate pulsing capsule by pulsatile drug delivery system using synthetic and Natural Polymers at a National Conference on Human Genome project in Drug Discovery and Development at RBVR College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hyderabad. Telangana on 30th and 31st July 2019.

Interns of Pharm.D (2019-20) Ms. Ayesha Begum, Ms. Humaira Minhaj, Ms. Aymen Fatima bagged 3rd Position in Oral Presentation – Pharmacist Intervention on topic “A Comparative Evaluation of Glycopyrronium Bromide – A Long acting Muscarinic Antagonist Vs Titropium Bromide in triple therapy of COPD Patients in an Indian Clinical Setting” under the guidance of Ms. Zuleqaunnisa Begum, Assistant Professor, Deccan School of Pharmacy at CLINICON – 2019 – Two Day National Conference on Clinical Pharmacy Practice & Clinical Research organized by Center for Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Science and Technology, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad in collaboration with Pharmacon Society for Pharmacy Practice and Clinisol Research Pvt Ltd held on 16th and 17th August 2019.

Ms. Maria Ansari, Pharm.D 4th Year Student, bagged First Prize for her Oral Presentation entitled “Patterns and Outcome of infection in MHD pateints” in the SYNCHROPHARMA – 2019 – National Conference  on Advances, Challenges & Future Strategies in the Pharmaceutical Industry & Pharmaceutical Care on 1st & 2nd February 2019 at Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
